And while it's a hard day too for many reasons, I do have something to celebrate. The three biggest blessings I could ever have asked for.
Yesterday Olivia asked, "Mom, tomorrow is your birthday, are you so excited?!" I smiled and, not wanting to thwart her excitement for me, tried to also gently explain that adult birthdays just weren't always the most "exciting." :) But that I was excited to spend another wonderful, summer day with my three kids. And I meant it.
