This looked like such fun, especially on a hot summer day like today, but alas, it was not to be. I'm not sure how the original poster did what they did with this, but they have pics that proves it worked for them, not so for us.
Basically they took a roll of plastic sheeting, duct taped three edges, leaving a small gap, filled it with water, and created a large, cold, water-filled sensory bag their kids played on for a LONG time.
Duct taped mine (not on the lawn where I knew it wouldn't work and form a good strong bond), but as soon as it started filling it started leaking almost immediately. From too many spots to warrant more tape to fix.
We filled it about halfway and taped it shut. I let the kids play but wasn't going to continue to fill when I could tell it wouldn't hold long. They did have fun on it, and I wish it had worked, but it was not to be.
