Morning Routine

I won't leave this up long, but wanted you to get an idea of what is going on right now. This (starting Sunday) begins for Olivia between 5 and 5:30 each night and lasts until about 8 am the next day. I hadn't noticed this time pattern until last night when I was documenting yesterday's goings ons (however you say that!). This video was done this morning when I first got Olivia out of bed at 7am. After helping her to breakfast, getting dressed, going to the bathroom, and carrying her to the car to leave for school at 7:30, she is then walking by 8am and goes to class with no real issues by 9. And tonight, my guess is it'll begin again. This pattern is making me second guess whether or not it IS seizure related. It seems to me that if it was, these episodes would be more sporadic and random. Please know that I taped this with her permission, and that my main goal in taping her is to show her doctors and to try to help figure out what is going on. We have to have answers soon! (and please disregard our horribly yuck box spring! The bed skrt is in the wash! :) )

I obviously don't live in your house- but I wondered the same thing when I was noticing a pattern from your fb posts. Hope you have some answers soon!

I was suspicious when you mentioned her not having them at the hospital while she was laying down. No suggestions or ideas here, just hope an answer comes soon to bring some relief.

Man, it makes it so much more scary to see it. I'm sorry and hope you find answers. Praying!

Megan, I know, it seems silly to me now that I didn't see a pattern, but since Sat it was breakfast time and Sunday it was lunch time then the Pattern began that night at dinner, it was hard to get a grip on. Plus being at the hospital all day Mon, doing "life" while trying to help Olivia and take care of the boys and write lesson plans and get back to work, it just hadn't hit me. I tried calling our nurse today, but she was out so I'll watch over the weekend and call Monday. I just don't think there's anything they'll do until our appt Thursday. :(

What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and blood to blood contact (such as sharing needles). - HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do. Additional information on transmission of HIV can be found on the Center for Disease Control website: http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources

Little Did I Know

Little did I know that the road would be so rocky
Little did I know that the trip would take so long
Little did I know that my heart could hurt so much
Little did I know that God is never wrong

Little did I know that love could be so powerful
Little did I know that a dream so far could go
Little did I know that God would place the right ones
Little did I know that my heart, so large, could grow

Little did I know that a dream has it’s own timing
Little did I know that this day would finally come
Little did I know that four souls would be sent to guide me
Little did I know that they would choose to call me mom

But God knew all along and He had a plan to follow
God knew all along that my dream would soon come true
God knew all along that we five should be together
God knew all along that I’d share it all with you
