Wordle Fun

Have you tried Wordle.net yet??? If not, go, go now!!! Copy and paste any piece of text... a blog entry, a famous speech, your book report, or type in your own words... wordle will take the words you've entered and create, literally, a piece of ART with the words it finds. It will give larger text size to those words used more often and scale down. A great way to see if your idea is coming across loud and clear. Try some presidential inaugural addresses - eyeopening!!!

I tried one using Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream Speech. It's now hanging in the hall outside my classroom! :) (You'll need the java plugin on your computer, I don't have it at home ;() It took maybe two minutes to search online, find the text, copy it, and paste it in Wordle. Then you can hit randomize at the bottom and it will change the layout, text, colors, etc each time you click. Amazing! :)
