Kids Say the Darndest...

Usually these posts are reserved for Braeden's hilarious antidotes as Liam's too young yet to say a whole lot of funnies and Olivia's usually too old, but I say usually lightly, because that girl can (unbeknownst to her at the time) crack me up!!!

The other day she was beginning to practice her multiplication facts. She has passed with "star status" her addition and subtraction timed tests at school and is moving on. She went to her room to work on some flash cards but came back in just a few minutes. She says... "Mom! I've done this on a worksheet and can do it. BUT, that was times, this is multiplication! And I can't do it!"

I was trying, trying so hard, not to laugh. But I was rolling on the inside. After explaining that those are the same thing, and explaining that she is probably seeing problems on the flash cards which she hasn't attempted yet, we worked out a strategy for doing flash cards and she began again.

HILARIOUS!!!!
