More Details

Here are some more details I can give you regarding Davids' adoptive family...

This family is ALREADY in process to adopt from Latvia!

They ALREADY have all the required paperwork DONE and their dossier is ALREADY filed in Latvia.

They are adopting a small-for-his-age soon-to-be 16 year old boy - sound familiar??? - and are preparing travel for his adoption.

They are adopting ONE child... but are ALREADY approved to adopt TWO! Happily ready to add Davids to the mix and adopt BOTH at ONCE.

Davids will join his soon-to-be brother Peters (notice anything similar about their first names in relation to our American names)!

Now if all those AMAZING hits you've generated on the sidebar of my blog would result in even just $5 per person... THIS amazing family would have their MOUNTAIN moved to bring Davids HOME! DONATE HERE Be sure to write DAVIDS in the comments!

Wow, great news! So glad to hear this. Are you on twitter? Would love to tweet your blog entries.

I am just in AWE.
And sooooo relieved.

Unbelievable! Our God is so amazing! Our family is going to donate right now to help them get Davids home. My husband and I and even our children have cried more than once for Davids to be saved over the past few days. What a blessing!

I'm so happy to read these updates!!!!! I was sick with worry reading the messages come through on some other groups I belong to and my heart dropped when I realized he was the same boy that you hosted! (I have a friend that is married to a Latvian man.. all of the male names end in S... it's interesting huh?)

Hi there! I've shared the donate link on my blog and I'm still praying. I left a donation. Wish I could have left more. I am not sure how Latvia works. Does this family have only until they submit paperwork to get the funds or do they have a little longer? Thanks for advocating!

How wonderful that Davids will have a new brother as well!!!

I already donated, but am also wondering how long they have to collect the funds? Is it the whole 180 days after the have committed to adopting him or is it by his birthday??

Little Did I Know

Little did I know that the road would be so rocky
Little did I know that the trip would take so long
Little did I know that my heart could hurt so much
Little did I know that God is never wrong

Little did I know that love could be so powerful
Little did I know that a dream so far could go
Little did I know that God would place the right ones
Little did I know that my heart, so large, could grow

Little did I know that a dream has it’s own timing
Little did I know that this day would finally come
Little did I know that four souls would be sent to guide me
Little did I know that they would choose to call me mom

But God knew all along and He had a plan to follow
God knew all along that my dream would soon come true
God knew all along that we five should be together
God knew all along that I’d share it all with you
