HELP! Continue to Spread the Word!

8pm Central time update :)
We've just passed $1,000 donated today!!! Keep it coming!!!

I just heard more info on the family who is so thrilled to adopt Davids that they've already rearranged bedrooms...

estimated cost, even with many WAIVING fees in this situation... $16,000-$20,000!

This is an amazing Christian family but not wealthy... in order for this adoption to continue they MUST know that funds will be coming in... or they WON'T be able to continue no matter how much they WANT to!

PLEASE help to spread the word!

PLEASE... if everyone who has been touched by this story can spread the word and donate even just $5, I KNOW God can move mountains, and this is a MOUNTAIN for this family!!!

DONATE HERE

"love" :), I'm working on getting more information, including an email so that I can ask just that! Just found out the Project Hopeful fund has cleared $1,000!

I read about Davids this morning. We are an adoptive family of 5 kids from Kaz and Kyrg and I even called about him knowing full well we didn't have the money but wondering if God was asking us to step out on faith. The kids were very disturbed to learn what had happened, as on Valentine's Day we will be home a mere 1 year with our daughters whom we pursued adopting for FIVE years before getting them home. My eldest daughter looked at me when I shared Davids story this morning and said "Mama...I so glad you never give up and never do that to us. I would have died." And she mentioned Davids 3 more times today at random moments. We prayed at lunch for him and I will be so happy to share that once again, God has created a miracle for another child. Thanks a million for spreading the word about Davds, for allowing so many the opportunity to pray for his situation.

Have they contacted Show Hope, the Chapman's organization to see about a grant from them?

Some friends of mine were in the process of getting their state home study turned into the Hague one when they got the news that Davids had a family. But they are still available if anything falls through.

I have sent this information out in a huge letter to over 400 business contacts, and told them to forward. I will be on the phone all day tommorrow to talk to adoption grant agencies, sending them to the contact information numbers.
IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENT CONTAFCT INFO: Lisa, please call me at 302 227 1871 tommorrow after 8am EST and let me know.
If they are in North Carolina, they can go to Carolines Choice and if they are so happening to be interfacing with a Show Hope adoption agency they will get priority in their grants. I will do my best tommorrow to get as many people saying Davids name as I can.

I just now donated to the adoption fund on the left via paypal. Is it going to Davids' adoptive parents?
Thanks,
Tharen

Hi Nancy, Just added the donate link to this blog post, it was in one a couple posts down :) Thanks!

Tharen, that's for our own adoption fund, but I will make sure that your donation gets to Davids family! Thanks!

I left a donation and put DAVIDS in the comment section. I would also love to be able to follow the journey of DAVIDS and his new brother to their forever family. If they have a blog or want to share this information I would love to follow.

What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and blood to blood contact (such as sharing needles). - HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do. Additional information on transmission of HIV can be found on the Center for Disease Control website: http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources

Little Did I Know

Little did I know that the road would be so rocky
Little did I know that the trip would take so long
Little did I know that my heart could hurt so much
Little did I know that God is never wrong

Little did I know that love could be so powerful
Little did I know that a dream so far could go
Little did I know that God would place the right ones
Little did I know that my heart, so large, could grow

Little did I know that a dream has it’s own timing
Little did I know that this day would finally come
Little did I know that four souls would be sent to guide me
Little did I know that they would choose to call me mom

But God knew all along and He had a plan to follow
God knew all along that my dream would soon come true
God knew all along that we five should be together
God knew all along that I’d share it all with you
