Our Trip

We had a lot of fun on our short weekend trip, however most of us are sick now! :) Liam cried a lot Saturday, which is so unlike him. I thought it was just that he was tired, we got to bed late Friday and he woke up at his normal time Saturday. But, he ran a low temp during the night last night and has been crying off and on all day today, just not feeling well at all. :( And Olivia's got quite a cough, mostly at night and in the morning. I started her Zyrtec up again and it seems to be helping somewhat.

Anyway, we did have a great time. The kids were thrilled when they found out what we were doing!!! They just could NOT wait to get there and swim and see everyone! We haven't swam since FL at Christmas and they love to swim so much, so they were ecstatic! We arrived at the hotel about 6:00pm. The kids did a great job in the car and kept themselves occupied the whole time.

After arriving we had a snack, I thought it would be better to eat dinner after swimming. While getting ready my cousin J called and ended up coming over after we swam a while. She brought us pizza! and even more importantly, that beautiful new baby of hers! Her little one is soooooo sweet!!! Toooooo cute!

The pool was awesome! The slide was a huge hit! (I even went down a couple times! :) ) We had the pool completely to ourselves except for a short time when some guy was in the hot tub. I think he even took a pic of us with his cell phone at one point, so weird!

We got to bed late, about 9:30. And of course they were up bright and early by 6:00am! We were dressed and went down for breakfast a little after 7. After watching Disney Playhouse and packing up the room, relaxing a bit, we headed out about 10:15. We went to Wal Mart first and then got to the baby shower at 11 when it started. It was so much fun! The kids did pretty well. Liam did well at first, hence the cutie pie pic of the three, but then cried during most of the rest. Braeden was getting pretty wound up toward the end, just a lot of unstructured time for him. But they had a lot of fun and it was great seeing so many family members and getting to meet some new friends as well.

After the shower we left to go with two of my cousins and my aunt to a park for the kids to run and play and let off some steam. It was beautiful out. On the way there Braeden said, "But mom, no one took a shower!" What??? I had no idea what he was talking about. "Mom, you said it was a shower, but no one took a shower." !!! LOL !!! A baby shower!!! I was cracking up! It took me a min to compose myself and explain to him. Then he said, "But that's a party!?" You're right Braeden, basically a baby party. :) The park was great and the kids had so much fun!

We then met up with family for dinner at a favorite pizza place. SO yummy!!! Liam played the entire time at the park and seemed to be doing well. He was in a high chair at the restaurant and then my uncle walked in. He has a beard/mustache and I don't know if it scared him or what, but Liam sort of screamed and wanted out of the chair as fast as possible! He buried his face in my neck and grabbed his arms around me. He ended up falling asleep and slept on my lap while we ate dinner. :)

They slept the whole way home and we got home around 11:00pm. Wow. I'm still trying to feel "normal" again but it was so worth it!!! We all had a really great time. I so enjoy spending time with my family! :) I'm hoping we can get there for a weekend this summer to spend more time. :)

What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and blood to blood contact (such as sharing needles). - HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do. Little Did I Know

Little did I know that the road would be so rocky
Little did I know that the trip would take so long
Little did I know that my heart could hurt so much
Little did I know that God is never wrong

Little did I know that love could be so powerful
Little did I know that a dream so far could go
Little did I know that God would place the right ones
Little did I know that my heart, so large, could grow

Little did I know that a dream has it’s own timing
Little did I know that this day would finally come
Little did I know that four souls would be sent to guide me
Little did I know that they would choose to call me mom

But God knew all along and He had a plan to follow
God knew all along that my dream would soon come true
God knew all along that we five should be together
God knew all along that I’d share it all with you
