Updating the Water

Well, finally Roto Rooter made it to our house. On Saturday. They fixed the issue, BUT, my main water pipe which runs from in the floor of the basement up needs to be replaced. The big, black, wrought iron pipe. Needs to be replaced up to the ceiling of the basement for sure, above that??? It's in the walls! And goes all the way to the roof as a vent! The part that for sure needs to be replaced? Oh about $1,000-$1,500. That's all! Talk about Murphy's Law!!!
