Zoo Atlanta

Today we went to Zoo Atlanta, lots of fun!!! First you have to love free parking! :) And we had free admission with Olivia's World Passport from her Make a Wish trip last August. The zoo was wonderful!

The shirts you'll see were gifts from Grandma and Grandpa (color - hmmm... fine for the kids, not so sure of it for mom... :) ). Olivia's says "Grandpa's girl, Grammy's favorite", Braeden's says "Grandpa's Buddy, Grammy's favorite", and Liam's says "Grandpa's pal, Grammy's favorite." You sure can't miss any of us in a crowd! :)

Liam will NOT take off the fake Harry Potter glasses. We've had these forever and they are in the kids' car buckets as a toy. He hasn't taken them off since! Too funny! I think he thinks he's being like mommy. So when he lays down for a nap, I have to take off my glasses and lay them on the dresser for him to take off his! :)

The Panda's at the zoo were especially great since we've never seen any before.. a great day!

Looks like a FUN afternoon out!!! Liam is adorable in those glasses - heehee. :o) I have to ask though, what in the heck is that animal he's standing in front of??

* Hi, I'm jodes, I've been following your blog for a while. Just thought I'd 'officially' introduce myself. You have a beautiful family!!"

It was a goat! :) There were a bunch of them and some sheep in a petting zoo area. They had brushes the kids could use and it was hilarious just to watch them. Olivia was scared so would end up near their rear ends and I kept thinking, that is so not the place I'd pick to stand! :) Liam loved the goats! :) He had just touched it's hoof and was so cute about it. :)

About Me

I am a single mom to four amazing kids; each of whom just happen to have been adopted. The first three were adopted through foster care, and we just completed an international adoption from Haiti. Our family has grown through adoption and I am all the more blessed to know each of my children. What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do. Little Did I Know

Little did I know that the road would be so rocky
Little did I know that the trip would take so long
Little did I know that my heart could hurt so much
Little did I know that God is never wrong

Little did I know that love could be so powerful
Little did I know that a dream so far could go
Little did I know that God would place the right ones
Little did I know that my heart, so large, could grow

Little did I know that a dream has it’s own timing
Little did I know that this day would finally come
Little did I know that four souls would be sent to guide me
Little did I know that they would choose to call me mom

But God knew all along and He had a plan to follow
God knew all along that my dream would soon come true
God knew all along that we five should be together
God knew all along that I’d share it all with you
