Day One...
of Braeden's special 10 year trip...
Started out at Discovery Cove. Braeden LOVES animals and I KNEW this was right up his alley! It was Ah. May. Zing!

They restrict the number of guests so it's not crowded at all.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks are all included, and they provide a vest or wet suit, snorkel, and mask.
There's an aviary where you can feed MANY kinds of birds.
One landed right on my head!
The Grand Reef is so amazing, and the rays swimming with you are HUGE.
Of course the hammocks are great too! :)
From there we headed to our home away from home for the trip...
Simply amazing lodging that we don't or won't do otherwise,
but now is the time to "splurge".
And again, animals are the theme here!

We headed downstairs to their specialty African restaurant.
Boma is what Braeden still talks about.
There was so much wonderful food to try and choose from as it is a buffet style restaurant.
Love their tiny desserts!
Outside the lodge...
We finished the night with a little swim time
while watching Peter Pan.
He was pretty warn out! :)
And it was a GREAT start on our special trip!
