31 Days of Pinterest: Day Fourteen: Knock Off DQ Ice Cream Cake

I have a secret... today was my birthday.  Shhh!  No, really, it's not that big of a deal... as an adult it's more of a no-big-deal kind of day.  But the kids love celebrating.  And they were so cute about getting me gifts when I took them to Target, gave them some money, and set them free (what's a single mom to do?!).

 Their finds...
Liam got me a pizza cutter (and told me at least three times what he picked 
between the day before and the day of my birthday.


Olivia picked an apricot facial scrub (smells divine!).


And Braeden remembered me telling him I like simple silver earrings and he chose silver studs!


One of the best though has to be the card.
Olivia purchased this a few weeks BEFORE my day,
with HER own money...











Melt. My. Heart.

After gifts we headed out and spent the evening at Medieval Times.
Because moms spend their birthday money doing just that... right?!?





Alright, alright, enough about the birthday, where is the CAKE already?!

This delicious cake... and my Pinterest try of the day...  EASY!  TASTY!

What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and blood to blood contact (such as sharing needles). - HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do.
