Valentine's Day 2013

Had a great Valentine's Day this past week!  (Although I completely forgot the tablecloth I purchased last year... oh well... another time!)

 I was literally so wiped out from school, it was just a crazy crazy week!  But, I still put together some fun but easy meals and things for the kids!

 Breakfast:
Heart Shaped Cinnamon Rolls
Strawberries and Whipped Cream
Pink Milk
And a small gift for each...


They loved it!








Since we had school that day, I packed them "special" lunches, most of which was made the night before while I was making dinner:
Nutella Sandwiches with a heart cut out and sprinkles added
Heart Shaped Cantaloupe
Strawberry Yogurt
Smores (grahams, marshmallow fluff, dipped in chocolate) with some red sugar sprinkles...


That night we had a heart shaped pepperoni pizza and "love punch" (sprite, rasp. lemonade, and rasp. sherbet).  We were also planning on having heart shaped roasted potatoes but I was too exhausted to make them so we opted for boring corn! :)  Maybe next year!

What you should know about HIV

-HIV can NOT be spread through casual/household contact. HIV is not spread through hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sharing toys, sneezing, coughing, sharing food, sharing drinks, bathing, swimming or any other casual way. It has been proven that HIV and AIDS can only be spread through sexual contact, birth, breastfeeding and blood to blood contact (such as sharing needles). - HIV is now considered a chronic but manageable disease. With treatment, people who are HIV+ can live indefinitely without developing AIDS and can live long and full lives. - People who are HIV+ deserve to be treated with love, respect, support and acceptance as all people do.
